2011 Earnings Overview of Top 100 Machinery Enterprises in China

In 2011, top 100 machinery enterprises in China realized profits up 8.83%, reflecting larger drop compared with the same in 2010. Affected by many factors, a small number of large corporations experienced negative growth in profits, and individual previous top 100 machinery enterprises are excluded from the 2011 top 100 list due to losses. Among the top 100 machinery enterprises in 2011, 57 enterprises have different degrees of growth in corporate earnings over the previous year, and in terms of the growth rate, 26 enterprises exceeded 20%, 9 enterprises exceeded 50%, and 3 enterprises exceeded 100%. There are 4 enterprises realized profits of more than 7 billion yuan., wherein, the most profitable enterprise Sany Group, realizing profits of more than 10 billion yuan, with an increase of 47.31% compared with last year; followed by Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science And Technology Co., Ltd. and China National Machinery Industry Corporation, with the profits respectively increased by 77.29% and 21.35%. Seen from the enterprise nature, the private corporations accounted for the most: the total profit of 59 private enterprises was 50.946 billion yuan, with an increase of 11.33% year on year, accounting for 49.73% of the total profit made by the top 100 enterprises; the total profit of 31 state-owned enterprises was 42.285 billion yuan, with an increase of 3.8% year on year, accounting for 41.27% of the total profit made by the top 100 enterprises; the total profit of 10 foreign-funded enterprises was 9.218 billion yuan, an increase of 18.95% year on year, accounting for 9.00% of the total profit made by the top 100 enterprises.
