Baosteel Engineering Won Vietnam Ha Tinh Railway System Design Project

Restructuring of Baosteel engineering has achieved new progress. Recently, Taiwan Formosa Plastics Group informed by letter that Baosteel Engineering international Business Unit winned the bidding of the preliminary design of all the railway system project during the bidding of new full process large steel plant invested by Vietnam Ha Tinh. Formosa Plastics Ha Tinh steel project is expected to be put into operation in 2015. As one of the few large-scale overseas steel projects in recent years, many domestic engineering design units joined the competition in succession with all their strength. On the basis of deligient visit and comprehensive evaluation in early stage, the Formosa Plastics Group sent professional team twice to make site visit to Baosteel engineering on its design capabilities, operation performance, and the whole process from steel plant design to production, operation and maintenance, giving favorable reception to Baosteel Engineering strength on design and manufacturing. After winning the project design order, the relevant personnel from international business unit and Baosteel Engineering and Technology Unit Engineering Design Institute have launched intensive commercial and design work with close collaboration.
