Key Laboratory for Integrated Development of Product Platform Technology in Machinery Industry Passed the Acceptance from CMIF

Recently, an expert group assigned by China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) visited China Productivity Center for Machinery (CPCFM), the wholly-owned subsidiary of China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology (CAM), and conducted the acceptance work of the construction project -- "Key Laboratory for Integrated Development of Product Platform Technology in Machinery Industry" (here after referred as "The Laboratory"). The Laboratory has been establihshed with the goal of constructing a product platform and realizing the innovation of mechanical products and R&D and application of integrated manufacturing technology, and focused on the application studies such as modularized design methods and tools based on the product platform, product life cycle management, networked collaborative design, etc. During the construction period, the laboratory was assigned seven national, provincial and corporate research projects, (including three national projects), and has made some scientific and technological achievements: two science and technology awards and two patents; The Laboratory also provided technical services to the related industry, which helped promote the technological progress of the industry. According to the relevant laboratory management provisions and laboratory acceptance requirements, the expert group announced that The laboratory passed the acceptance, after they reviewed the laboratory building materials, listened to the construction report, investigated the completion of the laboratory construction, and made discussion about questions.
