Laiwu Special Steel realized batch production of GCr15 bearing steel

Recently, Laiwu Special Steel Division under Shandong Iron & Steel Group Co, Ltd. successfully carried out the continuous production of 25 furnaces of GCr15 bearing steel using the converter system and rolled the steel into finished products. Upon examination, these bearing steel products have all reach the acceptable quality level, wherein, the oxygen content is up to 8ppm, which is in fact the level for premium quality bearing steel. All these create good conditions for Laiwu Special Steel to apply for national production license for its converter system bearing steel and carry out the product structure adjustment in the future.
