SKF names manufacturer rep of year

Automotive supplier SKF USA Inc. singled out R-S Mile High Sales L.L.C. as its 2012 Manufacturer's Representative of the Year. SKF cited R-S Mile High for "achieving outstanding sales growth and customer service for SKF automotive products." Todd Romsdahl, managing member at Englewood, Colo.-based R-S Mile High, said in a press release that the company has been working with SKF since the agency was founded in 2,000, when it merged with another marketing firm to create R-S Mile High Sales. The firm also has offices in Albuquerque, N.M., and Salt Lake City. "SKF has always been an excellent line for us—certainly what we consider one of our 'blue chip' lines," he said. "We really appreciate the support they give us in promoting their line of products. It's truly been an outstanding working relationship for more than a decade. "We are honored to receive this outstanding recognition from such a world class organization." Tom O'Brien, vice president of automotive sales for SKF VSM, said R-S Mile High has been "an important partner in our effort to serve the needs of customers in the Western U.S. and we look forward to working with them in the years ahead." SKF USA, part of SKF Group, manufactures technology platforms that include bearings and units, seals, mechatronics—combining mechanics and electronics into intelligent systems—services and lubrication systems. Its parent company, with operations worldwide, makes rolling bearings and related technologies including sealing solutions, lubrication systems, mechatronics and services.
