1.4 billion investment to build Zhejiang Machine Tool Industry Investment & Business Center

"Right here, we are to build the first-class machine tool R & D center in China." mayor of Zeguo Town, Lin Jianmin said, pointing to an open space in this town. Zeguo Town is one of the first batch of pilot towns for small city cultivation, and the largest machine tool distribution center in East China. There are more than 230 machine tool enterprises and related enterprises, but only 20 enterprises of them are above-scale enterprises. For transformation and upgrading of the "low-end" machine tool enterprises and development of high-end CNC machine tools, there are many technical bottlenecks need to be broken, so relevant department of Zeguo Town set their sights on Dalian Machine Tool Group Corperation, thetop 500 enterprise and the leader in the field of machine tool manufacturing sector of China. Currently, the project titled as "Zhejiang Machine Industry Investment and Innovation Center" has been planned and agreed by relevant department of Zeguo Town and Dalian Machine Tool Group Corperation. This Center is planned with a total investment of 1.476 billion yuan and an area of nearly 100 acres, and was included in the provincial key construction projects last year.
