Deputies to the people's congress in Liaoning Investigated Development of Wafangdian Bearing Industrial Cluster

On the morning of Jun 5th, some deputies of Dalian city to the people's congress who attended 12th People's Congress in Liaoning province investigated the development of bearing industrial cluster in Wafangdian city. The deputies included Yu Jianqiu, Sun Zhongtie, Cong Hong, Wang Dekuan participated in the research, accompanied by the leaders of Wafangdian, namely Zhao Yang, Lv Zhenghui, Liu Baoqing, and the relevant responsible persons in Wafangdian People's Congress and Economic and Information Bureau. The delegates carried on the on-site investigation of RUIGU (Dalian) Technology Co.,Ltd and Wafangdian Bearing Group Corporation. Then，they listened to the report from the mayor Zhao Yang on the development of Wafangdian bearing industrial cluster. Zhao Yang said, as one of the important cities for the revitalization of northeast old industrial base, Wafangdian government has been always keeping new industrialized road, continuously promoting industrial structure optimization, management upgrading, technological upgrading and product upgrading and has realized the transformation from scale development to quality benefit. At present, there are 291 large-scale bearing enterprises in Wafangdian bearing industrial cluster, forming the largest bearing industrial cluster in China. After on-spot investigation, delegates spoke highly of the Wafangdian's achievements of developing bearing industrial cluster in recent years and considered that Wafangdian government strongly promoted the rapid development of Wafangdian bearing industry. Meanwhile, they also hoped Wafangdian government will continue to support bearing industry, to further integrate current bearing enterprises, to increase investment and policy support. They believed Wafangdian will become the Chinese bearing city with good reputation in the world.
