Qingdao Gadli Petroleum Chemical Co., Ltd. is now in cooperation with Afton Chemical Corporation -- the world's second largest additive enterprise for development and production of wind power gear oil based in Qingdao. The first batch of wind power gear oil is expected to be launched in three months, which will fill the blank in China's lubricating oil sector. At present, wind power installed capacity has exceeded nuclear power in China, which makes wind power the third largest domestic energy source. Lubricating oil plays a vital role in smooth running of wind generators, but domestic companies are mainly dependent on imported wind gear oil products as there is no local manufacturer in this sector yet, which means huge potential market.
