Bearing Transformation Project of Depressed Center Flat Car with Cross Pulling Gate in North Jiangsu Province Though Acceptance

On the morning of August 8th, the acceptance conference of bearing transformation project of depressed center flat car with cross pulling gate in North Jiangsu province was held in the engineering team of Waterway Management Bureau of Great Canal in North Jiangsu province. The leaders and related participants checked the depressed center flat car after listening to “Report on Technical Transformation Research of Depressed Center Flat Car Bearing”. They agreed to delivery and apply the 30 pieces of customized depressed center flat car bearing as they had good appearance and all the sizes could meet the drawing requirement. Great Canal in North Jiangsu province has six locks with cross pulling gate. Because the depressed center flat cars with cross pulling gate in the locks have to be changed in every three years, the depressed center flat cars in two locks should be replaced in each year, and the shipping service will be suspend in every replacement, they all have certain influence on the high efficient operation of busy locks. Due to the damage of main track roller bearings, the depressed center flat car needs to be changed. In order to extend the service life of depressed center flat car and save the costs, the engineering team of Waterway Management Bureau of Great Canal in North Jiangsu province organized the technical staff to take the technical transformation for the depressed center flat car bearings. After transformation, the bearings have been reduced one to two depressed center flat car replacement cycles and the service life has been extended from three years to eight years, greatly improving the lock shipping rates.
