ZWZ accelerates the progress of Bayi Steel on localization of imported bearings

Bayi Steel Company recently announced the success of localization of all imported bearings that it used to rely on for production through three years' cooperation with ZWZ Group. It is learned that Bayi Steel signed agreement with ZWZ Group in September 2011 for strategic cooperation on localization of 1,066 kinds of bearings, almost 95% of the domestic species. Nine projects were included in the agreement, three of which were applied in the blooming and cold rolling of rolling units and medium-thick plate production line in 2011, and all proved to be effective on trial and fully meet the production line requirements after six months' tracking. Bayi Steel used to rely on imported bearings that means higher price and longer delivery time. But now, using ZWZ bearing products not only shorten the delivery time, the price is only about 30% of imported like bearings, saving the annual cost of 30% and above.
