Baotou Iron & Steel Group obtained license for high-carbon chromium bearing steel products

In early March 2014, Steel Bar Plant of Baotou Iron & Steel Group obtain production license for high carbon chromium bearing steel products, ending the history of the group incapable of producing small size carbon chromium bearing steel products. Currently, the first batch of 603 tons of high-carbon chromium bearing steel products have been succesfully delivered to a customer. The new high speed wire production line of the Steel Bar Plant can produce high carbon chromium bearing steel with diameters in range of 6.5 - 16 mm while the bar production line can produce the same with diameters in range of 18 - 100 mm.
