NSK to Exhibit at MT duo 2014 in Taiwan

Tokyo, Japan, April 25, 2014 - NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Norio Otsuka) announced today that it will be exhibiting at MT duo 2014 Taipei Manufacturing Technology Show, which is being held at the Taipei World Trade Center in Taipei from May 8 (Thursday) to May 11 (Sunday). NSK is the only maker that develops, produces and sells bearings and precision products (direct drive, mechatronics). As such, NSK contributes to a variety of industries with its diverse lineup of bearings, ball screws, NSK Linear Guides™, Megatorque Motors™, and so forth. Taiwan is second only to Japan in terms of machine tool machine exports*1 in Asia and is host to MT duo 2014, an international expo which has wide attendance from countries around the world. At this expo, automation technology such as machine tools and robots, as well as technology related to 3D printers, which have been garnering much attention recently, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing technology in Asia will be on display. NSK will display its advanced technologies at this expo, including its diverse lineup of linear motion products and direct drive products. NSK Business in Taiwan In 1989, NSK, in a joint venture with Yung Ho Shun Co., Ltd., established Taiwan NSK Precision Co., Ltd. as a distributor for its precision device-related products in Taipei, Taiwan. Since that time, NSK has expanded into industrial machine bearings for machine tools and related technology, while expanding sales to LCD, semiconductor and machining tool markets. Going forward, NSK plans to expand into the general machinery market and aftermarket.
