World's First 10-speed Automatic Gearbox Steel Selects Baosteel

Through 1-year's consistent effort of Baosteel's production, sales & research team, Baosteel Special Steel finally wins the supply contract of the world's first 10-speed automatic gearbox steel that is developed by one domestic automobile group, which symbolizes that Baosteel Special Steel material has been applied in automatic gearbox of the highest international technology.
Nowadays, high-range and high-speed gearbox for multi-purpose vehicle is the trend. Last year, 9-speed automatic gear box has been successfully applied in Jeep Cherokee. Soon afterwards, two famous foreign automobile manufacturers have jointly developed 9-speed automatic gearbox, incorporating the newly launched high-grade vehicle from two automobile factories. Till now, 10-speed automobile gear box has been developing. It is said, material of 10-speed automobile gearbox is different from that of conventional gearbox.
