Universal Industrial Products, Inc. (UIPI), a professional manufacturer of slewing bearings, had been awarded the CNAS C034-Q Certification for the R&D and production of slewing bearings and precision bearings by Beijing Hangxie Certification Center, with a 3-year validity. China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (hereinafter referred to as CNAS) is the national accreditation body of China unitarily responsible for the accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories and inspection bodies, which is established under the approval of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) and authorized by CNCA in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation. CNAS has an important role in the international recognition activities, the accreditation activities of which have been integrated into the international mutual recognition activities. “This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to creating and maintaining a culture of continuous process verification and improvement”, states the Quality Assurance Supervisor of UIPI in an interview recently. UIPI mainly produces large slewing bearings (slewing rings) for applications such as tunneling equipment, harbor and shipyard cranes, construction equipment, mobile cranes, offshore technology, tower cranes, turning machines, solar energy plants, ship deck cranes, railway cranes, wind turbines and so on.
