Vestas Receives 200 MW Order For U.S. Wind Project

Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order from an undisclosed U.S. customer for 100 V110-2.0 MW wind turbines, totaling 200 MW. The contract includes supply and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a five-year, customized Active Output Management service agreement. Delivery is expected to begin in the fourth quarter; commissioning is expected to begin in the first quarter of next year. Vestas says its total year-to-date announced order intake has reached 1,806 MW.
