At Kintex Korea International Exhibition Center of Goyang the biggest international metal industry technology exhibition of Korea takes place. The Korea Metal Week comprises seven individual fairs in the field of fasteners and wires, casting and foundry, automobile and machine parts, presses and forging, tubes and pipes, metal surface treatment and painting as well as 3D printing. With all subareas of the metal industries under one roof, the fair creates valuable synergy effects as well as great opportunities to make new business contacts, network or just exchange information. The fact that two other metal industry related fairs are held concurrently – one specialized in factory automation systems, the other in metal working tools and equipment - constitutes another positive effect. The exhibition centre where the fair takes place is Korea’s widest exhibition hall. It can be reached by bus, subway and car. Parking space for more than 4,000 cars is available.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 16. October to 19. October 2013, about 281 exhibitors from 19 countries and 20778 visitors on the Korea Metal Week in Goyang.
