WORCESTER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The FILMS business of Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics is proud to announce new brands that better reflect our best-in-class technical capabilities, products, markets and applications. In addition, a new website has been launched containing updated product and application information as well as a downloadable collection of new literature and data sheets.
Our newest brand, NORFILM™ Performance Coated Solutions, continues the proud heritage and legacy of our original NORTON® plastics business. These performance coated film composites are custom developed and utilize precision finishes, coatings and lamination technologies to add specific performance elements to engineering-grade film substrates. NORFILM products are commonly found in Optical, Medical, Automotive and Industrial applications.
The CHEMFILM® High Performance Films now includes all films produced with specialty fluoropolymer and polyimide plastics. CHEMFILM products are created by using state of the art casting, extruding and skiving processes and are manufactured in plants worldwide. These films are utilized in applications that demand performance in extreme environments. CHEMFILM products are commonly used in Aerospace, Electronic and Life Sciences applications.

The site contains a complete collection of all-new literature and datasheets.
