2023 May news: ZYS Bearings helped Macao Science No. 1 satelite successfully lift off!
On May 21st at 16:00, the Long March 2C carrier rocket successfully lifted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, accurately launching the Macau Science 1 satellite into its intended orbit in a one shot three star manner, and the launch mission was a complete success.
The Macau Science 1 satellite is the first scientific satellite jointly developed by mainland China and Macau, and also the first international scientific exploration satellite for low latitude geomagnetic field and space environment. This satellite adopts the "A+B" joint observation mode, equipped with an internationally leading high-precision magnetic field observation payload provided by the University of Science and Technology of Macau, which can achieve high-precision geomagnetic field detection. It will provide valuable data for human long-term research on geomagnetic field evolution and further promote China's research in space weather forecasting, spacecraft space operation safety, and other fields.
The satellite data of "Macau Science 1" will be open and shared with international cooperative research institutions, thereby promoting international scientific research cooperation. This project will open up a new path for cooperation between mainland China and Macau in innovative technology fields such as aerospace, expanding a new space for space science, technology, and application cooperation and exchange based on mainland China and with Macau as the window, and adding new momentum to the development of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and high-quality aerospace development.
In this launch mission, ZYS undertook the bearing for the A-star lifting mechanism of "Macau Science One". The bearing has the characteristics of no magnetism, strong load-bearing capacity, and light weight, and extends the observation load to the designated position to achieve high-precision geomagnetic field detection function.
