Recently, CSB Bearing (stock code: 300718) disclosed its progress in the field of robot parts in the latest investor survey minutes. The company said that some related products have been delivered in batches, and some are in the process of sample testing and verification.

According to the disclosed information, the company's product sales revenue in the field of robots in 2024 will account for less than 1% of the overall main business revenue, indicating that the business is still in the early development stage and has not yet formed a scale effect. However, CSB Bearing is actively connecting with a number of robot manufacturers and related supply chain companies to carry out joint research and development around core components to lay the foundation for subsequent market expansion.

As a company focusing on the research and development and manufacturing of self-lubricating bearings and high-performance composite materials, CSB Bearing is headquartered in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. Regarding the market prospects of robot-related products, the company believes that the entire robot industry is currently in a stage of rapid iteration and technology optimization, and it will take some time before large-scale commercialization. Therefore, the release of orders for related parts will also be a gradual process. The company will continue to invest in R&D resources to improve product adaptability and stability to cope with the growth of future market demand.

In terms of production capacity, CSB Bearing said that the existing production line has strong expansion capabilities, and some automotive and robot products can be produced on the same line, which is conducive to improving production line utilization. At the same time, with the completion of the construction of the new plant, the company has also reserved sufficient space for subsequent capacity expansion.
