On June 20, 2024, the Jiayuguan Municipal Market Supervision Bureau received a report from a relevant company that the Jiayuguan Baide Integrity Bearing Store was suspected of selling counterfeit "ZWZ" brand bearings of the company. After receiving the report, the law enforcement officers responded quickly and launched an investigation as soon as possible. After careful inspection by the law enforcement officers, it was confirmed that the 28 types of 94 sets of bearings marked with the "ZWZ" trademark sold by the party were not produced by the reporter. This behavior of the party has constituted an illegal act of selling goods that infringe the exclusive rights of registered trademarks, and violated the provisions of Article 57 (3) of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China.
In accordance with Article 60, Paragraph 2 of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China, the Jiayuguan Municipal Market Supervision Bureau imposed severe penalties on Baide Chengxin Bearing Store, deciding to confiscate 94 sets of 28 types of bearings that infringed the exclusive rights of registered trademarks and impose a fine of 10,000 yuan. This penalty decision is not only a powerful punishment for infringing businesses, but also sends a strong signal to the entire market to protect intellectual property rights, warning all market players not to touch the legal red line.
