LS Bearing Successfully Passes CNAS Scope Expansion Assessment

Recently, the Testing Laboratory Center of LS successfully passed the scope expansion assessment by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and obtained the accreditation decision letter and laboratory accreditation certificate. This milestone signifies a major breakthrough for the company in core technological fields such as bearing reliability verification and material microanalysis. It also demonstrates that the company has established a comprehensive testing service system covering materials to finished products, with testing capabilities reaching an advanced domestic level.

China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is the only nationally authorized conformity assessment body. It conducts technical capability evaluation and accreditation work for various testing, calibration and certification bodies in accordance with ISO/IEC international standards. Its certification results are mutually recognized in more than 100 economies around the world.

The company's testing laboratory center has more than 800 sets of equipment, an asset scale of over 100 million yuan, more than 30 employees, including 15 middle and senior professional titles, and about 20 testing engineers. It has high professional and technical capabilities in spherical bearing product performance simulation testing, material failure analysis, spherical bearing product testing, spherical bearing product environmental testing, physical and chemical analysis, etc. Since it first passed the CNAS laboratory accreditation in 2006, the testing laboratory center has continuously improved its inspection and testing capabilities and strengthened quality control. From March 29 to 30, 2025, CNAS organized review experts to conduct re-evaluation, expansion, and change on-site reviews, involving 43 standards, including 116 project parameters, and adding 9 new standards.
