[New product] ZWZ Achieves Core Technology Breakthrough in CR450 EMU Axle Box Bearings
Recently, the ZWZ high-speed rail bearing R&D project team announced that its axlebox bearings, developed for the CR450 EMU platform, have passed high-speed rail bearing type testing with excellent results, filling a gap in high-speed rail bearing testing in China.
According to the key and special characteristics of high-speed rail bearings, the ZWZ project team conducted multiple design comparisons and simulation analysis during the design phase to determine the optimal design. Through technical breakthroughs in product structural design and micro-optimization, the high-speed performance and reliability of the bearings were enhanced. Furthermore, advanced plunge grinding and reticulated finishing techniques were employed during the manufacturing process to improve the working surface precision, enhance the high-speed performance of the bearings, and ensure consistent bearing quality. Tests at 450 km/h confirmed that the bearings fully meet the operational requirements of the CR450 EMU.
