F1 Superpower Battery Cells and Low-Torque Hub Bearings from Wanxiang Honored as Zhejiang Top Industrial Products

Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economics and Information Technology released the list of "Zhejiang-made High-quality Products in 2025". Wanxiang Group's "F1 Ultra-High Power Battery Cell" and Zhejiang Wanxiang Group's "End-Drive Low-Torque Hub Bearing Unit" were selected for their outstanding performance, leading technology and lean manufacturing processes.

The F1 ultra-high-power battery cell, independently developed by Wanxiang Group, utilizes non-equidistant multi-pole lug technology, innovative composite electrode technology, and a wide-temperature range, high-efficiency electrolyte to meet the continuous extreme demands of racing. To enhance safety, the product features an innovative lightweight aluminum shell cylinder, reducing the weight of non-critical structures while increasing the cell's energy density. The product's dual-sided explosion-proof valves enable rapid, bidirectional pressure relief in the event of thermal runaway, enabling safe exhaust within 10ms. The product has been granted a total of 33 invention patents, establishing a comprehensive independent intellectual property rights barrier. On the manufacturing side, the F1 ultra-high-power battery cell utilizes a low-energy coating and zero-wastewater discharge process, using recycled aluminum shells and cobalt-free cathodes. The production process features full digital traceability, AI-based inspection of incoming materials, and 100% online monitoring, successfully passing the triple international quality system certifications of GB38031, UN38.3, and IEC62133.2.

The face-drive low-torque wheel hub bearing unit is primarily used in automotive chassis drive systems. It is a core component in the wheel axle that supports load and provides precise guidance for wheel hub rotation. Wanxiang Precision Machinery independently developed this product in China for the first time for use in a global B-class vehicle. This product significantly improves the wheel hub bearing's transmission torque, vehicle drive torque, and vehicle dynamic handling performance, positively impacting fuel efficiency, emissions reduction, cost reduction, performance improvement, and operating life. The related technology has been granted five invention patents and eight utility model patents, representing an internationally advanced level. It demonstrates significant potential in both current and future markets, demonstrates technological foresight, and represents the future direction of the industry.
