China First-Half Bearing Industry Value-Added Output Up 9.37% YoY

According to statistics from 159 enterprise groups and major companies in the bearing industry nationwide, the bearing industry achieved a total industrial output value (at current prices) of 53.802 billion yuan in the first half of this year, an increase of 11.04% year-on-year; industrial sales output value reached 53.449 billion yuan, an increase of 11.25% year-on-year; and industrial added value reached 16.094 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.37%.

In the first half of the year, the bearing industry achieved outstanding results in key products. LYS developed a 17-megawatt wind turbine main shaft bearing with a maximum outer diameter of 3425 mm, enabling the successful rollout of the world's largest single-unit power and largest rotor diameter 17-megawatt direct-drive floating offshore wind turbine. LYC also developed China's first set of gearless cylindrical roller turntable bearings, which are key components of the Xinjiang Qitai Radio Telescope, the world's largest and most precise 100-meter-class omnidirectional radio telescope. ZWZ Group has successfully developed the world's first key component used in 4,000-ton all-terrain cranes - the ultra-large tonnage slewing bearing, marking a major breakthrough in my country's core basic components for ultra-large construction machinery.
