Kapp Technologies L.P. Celebrates Its 40th Anniversary

Kapp Technologies L.P., the North American subsidiary of the Kapp Niles Group, proudly celebrates 40 years of innovation, growth, and trusted partnerships. Founded in March 1985, Kapp Technologies L.P. has grown to become a key contributor to the success of the Kapp Niles Group in the North American market. Over the past four decades, the company has established itself as a trusted partner in the gear manufacturing industry, offering advanced technology, engineering expertise, and dedicated service. Michael Ruppert, Vice President and General Manager of Kapp Technologies L.P., reflects on the occasion: ‘For 40 years, we have been driven by a passion for precision and innovation. This milestone is a tribute to our employees, customers, and partners who have made our success possible.’ The anniversary was celebrated with a festive program at the company’s Boulder site.   Milestones Over Four Decades Kapp Technologies L.P. has achieved significant milestones, including: •    1985 – Foundation of the company  •    1986 – Start of the CBN grinding wheel production in Elk Grove Village, IL •    1992 – Move to a new 34,000 square-foot facility in Boulder, CO •    2016 – Acquisition of Penta Gear Metrology •    2025 – Start of the diamond dressing tool production As of today, Kapp Technologies L.P. has delivered more than 23,000 tools and over 600 machines to the North American market. Libor Stepanek, Foreman in Profile Grinding, who has been with the company since its founding in 1985, shared: ‘At Kapp Technologies L.P., we are a small team where many of us wear multiple hats — and that’s exactly what has made my job so interesting over the past 40 years.
