The forum brought together industry wisdom and injected new impetus into the high-quality development of the agricultural machinery industry. Zhao Shanshui, President of the CAMA, attended the forum and delivered a speech.

President Zhao Shanshui emphasized that the association has always adhered to the principle of "serving the industry, serving enterprises, and serving the government" and has promoted collaborative innovation across the industrial chain. As a national strategic emerging industry, the low-altitude economy is deeply integrated into the agricultural sector through technological innovation. This forum is both a pragmatic exploration of the integration of "low-altitude economy + intelligent agricultural equipment" and a key initiative for the establishment of the Low-altitude Economy Equipment Branch to "listen to demands and build consensus." The association will uphold the principles of openness and inclusiveness, integrate the opinions of enterprises and experts, and refine the branch's functional positioning and operating model to ensure it serves as a bridge and link, supporting the high-quality development of the agricultural industry.

Secretary-General Wu Hongxin said in his speech that the branch secretariat (preparatory) has carried out various basic preparatory work and laid a good foundation for its establishment. The preparation of the branch has entered a critical stage. In the future, the pace of work will be accelerated to further deepen the collection of industry demands to ensure that the branch can quickly play a bridging role after its establishment, and help the high-quality development of the integration of low-altitude economy and intelligent agricultural equipment. He called on the industry chain to work together to fully promote the preparation of the branch and jointly build a new future for the integration of low-altitude economy and intelligent agricultural machinery.

Zhao Lina, deputy secretary-general of the branch (in preparation), presided over the forum.

Wang Bin, Chairman of Yiou, released the "2025 China Low-Altitude Economy Business Insight Report (Commercial Drone Applications)." The report, which summarizes extensive industry data analysis, shows that China's commercial drone market will exceed 100 billion yuan in 2024 and is expected to exceed 300 billion yuan in 2029. By the end of 2024, the agricultural and forestry plant protection sector will reach nearly 30 billion yuan, with rapid growth. Wang Bin noted that extending the "low-altitude + agriculture" industry chain to the entire supply chain is a key direction for "low-altitude navigation." Technology-driven development, industry standards, and core autonomy are key to "intelligent transformation of agricultural machinery." The rapid establishment of a branch will build a comprehensive platform to promote hardware transformation, data connectivity, and innovative application scenarios. These will be key responsibilities of the branch.

Professor Zheng Yongjun from the College of Engineering at China Agricultural University made a report entitled "The Current Situation and Development Trend of the Low-altitude Economic Industry in Orchards". The report pointed out that the low-altitude application technology in orchards needs to break through the three core problems of "complex terrain adaptation, equipment cost control, and green and sustainable operation". He expressed strong support for the establishment of the branch and worked together to promote the implementation of low-altitude equipment and technology in orchards. At the same time, he suggested building an interdisciplinary subject of "low-altitude technology and engineering" and cultivating compound talents to provide technical and talent support for the low-altitude economic industry in orchards.

In his keynote report, Zhang Haixiao, deputy general manager of the North China Operation Center of Yalong Intelligent Equipment Group Co., Ltd., shared successful cases of enterprises such as "Smart Manufacturing Learning Workshop" and "Industrial College", pointing out that the "one platform and four centers" architecture can open up the "talent training-industrial application" closed loop, and expressed that in the future, the branch will work together with the platform to jointly deliver core talents for the agricultural low-altitude economic industry.

Liu Lei, Vice President of Xingce Future Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech, introducing his company's technological achievements and agricultural applications in space-based intelligent computing. His company's space-based intelligent computing technology can provide precise technical support for agricultural scenarios such as farmland monitoring and crop growth analysis. He also expressed strong support for the establishment of the branch and its development goals of integrated co-construction.

Qian Shuting, Head of Public Affairs at XAG, delivered a keynote speech titled "Low-Altitude Economy + Smart Farming: An Agricultural Revolution Driven by New Productivity." Sharing multiple case studies of the company's smart agriculture ecosystem, she demonstrated how its drone technology, leveraging diverse technological breakthroughs, has successfully reduced costs, increased efficiency, and addressed labor shortages. XAG also expressed its support for the establishment of the chapter and its goal of collaborative platform development.

Wu Hongxin, Executive Director of the Rural Revitalization Research Institute of the China Agricultural Machinery Research Institute (CAMRI), Secretary-General's Unit (in preparation), reported on the branch's preparatory work at the meeting. He also introduced the CAMRI's integrated "research, production, promotion and application" service platform. He highlighted the Institute's significant role in promoting the integration of low-altitude equipment and intelligent agricultural machinery, facilitating the application of related technological achievements in agricultural production scenarios, and providing solid support for the high-quality development of agricultural machinery-related industries. Wu Hongxin also expressed his commitment to collaborating with the platform in the establishment and development of the branch, writing a new chapter for the low-altitude economy.

Wang Bin, Chairman of Yiou, moderated the roundtable discussion, focusing on the current status of the agricultural low-altitude economy. He discussed the functions and positioning of the branch, a topic highlighted by President Zhao Shanshui, with Tian Yuxuan, General Manager of Ligong Quansheng (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd.; Cao Ruizheng, Project Leader of Qingdao Xindong Aviation Technology Development Co., Ltd.; Yu Baoyu, East China Region Manager of Tuogong (Nanjing) Robotics Co., Ltd.; Yu Tao, General Manager of Tianhui Intelligent (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd.; Wang Liang, General Manager of the Beijing Central Business Unit of Zhongnong Sunshine Group; and He Dawei, Chairman of Beijing Smart Golf Technology Co., Ltd. (Ouyi Zhihang).
Participants noted that the current "low-altitude + agriculture" sector faces challenges such as a lack of standards (incomplete airworthiness certification and operating procedures), technical barriers (short battery life, payload restrictions, and low domestic production of core components), and a limited application scenario (primarily plant protection, with potential expansion into areas like sowing and transportation). These challenges hinder the industry's large-scale development.
The guests suggested that the low-altitude economic equipment branch to be established later should focus on the three core functions of "standard setting, technical research and resource matching", take the lead in formulating standards such as airworthiness certification and operational safety, organize joint research to break through core technologies such as intelligent obstacle avoidance and precise operation, build a government-enterprise matching platform to promote policy implementation and project cooperation, promote in-depth collaboration between "government, industry, academia, research and application", and accelerate the transformation of technological achievements and industrial application.

The successful convening of this conference and sub-forum laid a solid foundation for the formal establishment of the Low-Altitude Economic Equipment Branch of the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association. The active participation and enthusiastic support of member companies fully demonstrated the branch's spirit of "integration and collaboration," and built consensus and gathered strength for the branch's future development.
