HaTan Corporation Achieves Milestone with Successful Full-Scale Qualification Testing of Indigenous Graphite Material for Nuclear Main Pump Thrust Bearings

On September 22nd, Harbin Electric Carbon Plant Co., Ltd. announced the successful completion of full-scale bench testing of its independently developed nuclear power main pump thrust bearings, made from domestically produced graphite material GH1-4CF3.

After 72 hours of continuous operation, the test bearings demonstrated stable performance and excellent performance parameters. Key low-speed operating data was successfully collected, and the test results fully met expectations. This initiative successfully breaks the monopoly of foreign technology and resolves the bottleneck of this critical material.

It is reported that the GH1-4CF3 graphite material that was successfully tested this time is the result of the key project of the second phase of the national "1025" special scientific and technological research. The realization of its domestic substitution will significantly improve the level of equipment independence of my country's CAP type shielded pump water-lubricated bearing graphite tile materials. At the same time, it will inject strong impetus into the innovation of high-end graphite technology in my country's electric carbon industry, and lay a solid foundation for subsequent engineering applications and the realization of independent control of key nuclear power materials.
