On November 15, 2025, the "2025 Shaanxi Provincial Society of Vibration Engineering Annual Academic Conference and Northwest China Vibration Theory and Application Academic Conference," hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Society of Vibration Engineering and organized by Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Key Laboratory of Modern Design and Rotor Bearing Systems of the Ministry of Education, was successfully held at the Innovation Port Campus of Xi'an Jiaotong University.

At the opening ceremony, Professor Xu Yong, Chairman of the Society, delivered a speech on behalf of the Shaanxi Provincial Society of Vibration Engineering, warmly welcoming the guests and emphasizing the crucial role of vibration engineering in national strategic industries such as aerospace and major equipment. He expressed hope that this annual conference would become an important platform for stimulating innovation and promoting cooperation. Professor Lei Yaguo, Executive Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers, introducing the Western China Science and Technology Innovation Port, the research foundation and advantages of Xi'an Jiaotong University's mechanical engineering discipline and high-end equipment dynamics, and looking forward to collaborating with experts from the Society to empower major engineering needs and multidisciplinary integration, and promote the high-quality development of high-end equipment. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Cao Junyi of Xi'an Jiaotong University.

The invited reports were full of excellent presentations. Researcher Song Yanping from the Xi'an Branch of the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology delivered a report entitled "Development of Large Deployable Space Antennas in my country," systematically introducing my country's major progress and challenges in the field of high-end space equipment, which aroused great interest among the attendees. Researcher Feng Zhenzhou from the First Aircraft Research Institute of Aviation Industry Corporation of China presented a report entitled "Several Structural Dynamics Problems in Aircraft Design," analyzing the core scientific challenges of aircraft structural design and dynamic optimization from the perspective of major engineering needs. Professor Ding Hu from Shanghai University focused on "Design and Application of Adaptive Broadband Nonlinear Vibration Damperes," sharing new vibration reduction design theories and engineering applications, providing new ideas for vibration control in complex environments. Professor Yue Xiaole from Northwestern Polytechnical University presented a report entitled "Global Analysis Methods and Applications of Nonlinear Stochastic Dynamics," showcasing new methods for dynamics research from a theoretical perspective.

In addition to the invited reports, the academic conference also included a report session for the Science and Technology Awards and the Young Scientists Award. More than ten outstanding scholars and young talents from institutions such as the China Aircraft Strength Research Institute, Xi'an Aerospace Propulsion Institute, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology took the stage to present their findings. The reports covered cutting-edge and hot topics such as vibration and noise reduction for large aircraft, vibration testing technology for large launch vehicles, lightweight engine design, landing gear dynamics, and damage detection. These reports demonstrated the enormous potential for deep integration of vibration engineering technology with industries such as aerospace and intelligent equipment, sparking lively discussions and a strong academic atmosphere.

During breaks between reports, participating experts and scholars also engaged in in-depth free exchanges and visited the Key Laboratory of Modern Design and Rotor Bearing Systems of the Ministry of Education.

This annual meeting brought together over 80 renowned experts, scholars, researchers, and young students in the field of vibration engineering from universities, research institutes, and key enterprises. They conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the latest developments, engineering needs, and future trends in "Vibration Theory and Application," contributing their wisdom to promoting the high-quality development of my country's high-end equipment industry.
