In addition to these features, FAG now also offers sealed angular contact ball bearings with a polyamide cage. The standard version of these bearings is sealed on both sides. Where special load carrying capacity, running accuracy and rigidity are called for, paired angular contact ball bearings of the universal design are used. These are sealed “only” on one side depending on the configuration (O arrangement or X arrangement). The main applications of these sealed, maintenance-free and easy-to-mount angular contact ball bearings with polyamide cage are pumps, compressors, blowers and machine tools, where the continuous operating temperature does not exceed 80 °C.
