【New product】World first 4,000-ton crane slewing ring launched
Recently,ZWZ successfully developed the world's first ultra-large slewing bearing for 4,000-ton all-terrain cranesa core component for heavy-duty lifting. The launch of this product marks a major breakthrough for China in the field of ultra-large engineering machinery core components, elevating the country to a globally leading position.
Facing the challenge of safe and efficient hoisting for large wind turbines amid the industry's shift toward 8 MW and higher-capacity units, ZWZ Bearing pooled expertise to achieve systematic breakthroughs in materials science, mechanical design, simulation computing, and precision manufacturing. This effort successfully overcame R&D and production hurdles for this critical bearing.
This slewing bearing is currently the only domestically produced core component capable of meeting the full-range hoisting demands of all onshore 8 MW+ wind turbines. It will serve as a key enabler for future mainstream wind turbine installation models. With the continued expansion of high-capacity wind power and growing demand for equipment upgrades, this innovation holds significant economic potential in the coming years.
