On July 13, 2025, a representative of a new energy vehicle manufacturer from Zhejiang went to Harbin Bearing Group Co., Ltd. for a field visit. The two sides exchanged views on the technical adaptation and supply of key bearing components in the steering system of new energy vehicles, and reached a preliminary cooperation intention, marking a new step in the upstream and downstream collaboration of the industrial chain in the process of localization of core components of new energy vehicles.

Harbin Bearing Group Co., Ltd., as a key enterprise in the field of domestic bearing manufacturing, has continued to invest in research and development in special bearings for new energy vehicles in recent years, and has gradually mastered the design and manufacturing capabilities of high-precision and long-life bearings. In this docking, the company demonstrated its comprehensive advantages in material processing, structural optimization, production process and quality control.

Zhejiang OEMs have rich experience in vehicle system integration, performance matching and market application. During the exchange, the company put forward specific requirements for steering system bearings in terms of load capacity, durability and installation adaptability, and recognized Harbin Rolling Bearing's product development capabilities.

After multiple rounds of technical communication and scheme comparison, the two parties reached an agreement on product parameters, manufacturing processes, testing standards and delivery arrangements. Harbin Rolling Bearing will provide steering system bearing solutions customized and developed based on the vehicle platform for Zhejiang OEMs. At present, the trial production and verification of the first batch of products have been started, and will enter the small-scale production stage in the future.

This cooperation is not only a reflection of the complementary resources between enterprises, but also reflects that the cooperation in the core components of my country's new energy vehicle industry chain is deepening. The flexibility of southern enterprises in vehicle R&D and market response, and the technical accumulation of northern manufacturing enterprises in key components, form a synergistic effect, which will help promote the process of domestic substitution and enhance the stability and competitiveness of the overall supply chain.
