Power Transmission Distributors Association Names 2004 Leadership

The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) elected its 2004 officers, board of directors, and Manufacturer Council for 2004 at its recent annual convention.



President:
Don Latham, President of Canadian Bearings Ltd.
succeeding 2003 PTDA President Carlos Ingram of Kaman Industrial Technologies Corp.

First Vice President:
John Neal, Vice President of Marketing for Root Neal & Co.

Second Vice President:
Andrew Nations, President of Bearings & Drives, Inc.

Treasurer:
Jeffrey Pickelman, Owner and CEO of Northern Industrial Supply

Manufacturing Council Chair:
James Lamb, Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Drives, Inc.

Manufacturing Council Vice Chair:
William Demmel, Director of Sales for Martin Sprocket & Gear Inc.



The PTDA, founded in 1960 and based in the U.S.A., is a trade association which currently represents 222 power transmission and motion control (PT/MC) distributors, totaling close to 3,200 locations across North America and 14 other countries.

PTDA membership also includes 188 PT/MC industry manufacturers. According to the PTDA, the organization is, "a member-driven organization, dedicated to advancing distribution and strengthening members to be successful, profitable and competitive in a changing market environment."
