Construction Machinery

Spherical plain bearings are widely used in construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and cranes. They accommodate heavy radial and axial loads while allowing angular misalignment and oscillation. In excavators, bearings are used in boom, arm, and bucket pivots to handle shock loads and dirt. For loaders and bulldozers, they enable smooth articulation joint movement and track adjustment. Cranes rely on them for jib connections and turntable supports. These bearings are often steel-on-steel or with PTFE linings for reduced friction. Maintenance-free or relubricatable versions offer durability in dusty, wet, or high-vibration environments. Their rugged design improves equipment uptime, safety, and operational life.
