HRB recently collaborated with public security, market supervision, and other departments to launch a special brand protection operation in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province. The operation successfully cracked down on three businesses selling counterfeit "HRB" brand bearings, seizing over 4,700 counterfeit bearings with a total value of over 300,000 yuan.

The special operation targeted three counterfeit businesses and resulted in the investigation and punishment of these businesses.

After extensive market research, the HBG brand protection team discovered that Jinhu Huichang Bearing Business Department, Jinhu County Harbin No. 1 Mechanical and Electrical Business Department, and Xuyi County Zhimeng Hardware and Sundry Goods Business Department in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, were suspected of selling counterfeit "HRB" bearings. After obtaining solid evidence, HBG promptly reported the incident to the local market supervision department and cooperated with law enforcement agencies in a surprise inspection.

On-site inspection revealed that over 4,700 counterfeit "HRB" bearings, representing nearly 600 models, were seized from the three stores, with a total value exceeding 300,000 yuan. These counterfeit bearings not only seriously infringe upon the rights of consumers, but may also cause equipment failures or even safety accidents due to substandard quality.

The law severely punishes counterfeiting, and companies are calling for industry self-regulation.

According to Article 140 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, producers and sellers who adulterate or counterfeit products, pass counterfeit goods as genuine, pass inferior goods as good goods, or pass substandard goods as qualified goods, face penalties ranging from detention to fixed-term imprisonment, or even life imprisonment, depending on the amount of sales, and may also be fined or have their property confiscated. Furthermore, such behavior is suspected of violating the Trademark Law and the Anti-Unfair Competition Law.

It is reported that several suspects involved in the production and sale of counterfeit "HRB" bearings were arrested in 2024.
