Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has introduced a self-lubricating, bearing — Norglide Pro — that is designed for use in household fan motors to improve lifetime and energy efficiency.
Norglide Pro has been designed to replace the metal sintered bush bearings that are traditionally used for this application.
To function smoothly, bush bearings require lubrication; this needs to be replaced frequently in order to avoid the damage caused by friction.
Norglide Pro bearings do not require wet lubricant and offer consistently lower friction levels throughout the fan’s lifetime.

Coated with PTFE blend that extends lifetime, reduces noise levels and improves efficiency of fans.
