TCB Bearing Phase II Groundbreaking Ceremony Held Successfully

On the morning of March 28th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the industrial plant (phase II) of the precision bearing expansion and efficiency improvement technology upgrade project of Zhongshan TCB Bearing Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was grandly held in Zhongshan Torch High-tech Zone. Lin Weiqiang, Director of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; Xiao Yidong, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Torch High-tech Zone; Zhang Jinhua, Director of the People's Congress Working Committee of Zhongshan Port Street; Li Zheng, Member of the Party Working Committee of Zhongshan Port Street; relevant leaders of Torch Public Assets Group; the management team and employee representatives of TCB Bearing attended the ceremony, jointly breaking ground for the project and witnessing this important moment that embodies the initial aspiration of industrial development and outlines the vision of industrial upgrading.

As a manufacturing benchmark enterprise nurtured and grown in the Torch High-tech Zone, TCB Bearing's predecessor was founded in 1968. It officially settled in the Torch High-tech Zone in 2005. Through 58 years of trials and tribulations, the company has always adhered to the core track of high-end equipment core components, deeply cultivating specialized and innovative bearing R&D and manufacturing, and has become an undisputed leader in the domestic bearing industry.

TCB Bearing has established a national exemplary model worker and craftsman talent innovation studio, and the Guangdong Provincial Special Bearing Engineering Technology Research Center. It is a national high-tech enterprise and a Guangdong Provincial specialized and innovative enterprise, and also serves as a member unit of the National Rolling Bearing Standardization Technical Committee and the chairman unit of the Guangdong Provincial Bearing Industry Association. To date, TCB Bearing has led the formulation of 16 national standards, holds 30 invention patents and 63 utility model patents, and many of its independent R&D projects have been included in major science and technology projects of Guangdong Province and Zhongshan City. Its products supply renowned global machinery manufacturers in Germany, Switzerland, and the United States, successfully achieving import substitution in key areas. They are widely used in high-end equipment fields such as precision CNC machine tools, high-end passenger elevators, and low-noise motors, making it a backbone force for the high-quality development of the real economy in Torch High-tech Zone.

Expanding Production and Increasing Efficiency to Achieve New Heights: Project Empowers Industrial Cluster Upgrading

The second-phase project, which broke ground today, is not only a core part of TCB Bearing's strategy to upgrade its industry and increase production and efficiency, but also a significant achievement of Torch Public Assets Group in serving local enterprises and strengthening the real economy. Furthermore, it is a vivid example of Torch High-tech Zone's efforts to promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of manufacturing.

Located in the core area of Torch High-tech Zone, the project is bordered by Yixian Road to the east and Qimin South Road to the south, seamlessly connecting to the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge expressway network, boasting a significant transportation advantage. The plan is to demolish the existing old factory buildings and construct a new 5-story industrial plant, which, upon completion, will enable an annual production capacity of 250,000 sets of high-end precision CNC machine tool bearings. The project will simultaneously promote the renovation and expansion of existing factory buildings and the digital transformation of the entire process, empowering traditional manufacturing with high technology and driving the rapid large-scale transformation of innovative achievements.

Upon reaching full production capacity, the project will further release the company's production capacity and strengthen its R&D and innovation capabilities. This will not only significantly enhance TCB Bearing's core competitiveness, helping it seize a leading position in the global high-end bearing industry, but also inject strong new momentum into the Torch High-tech Zone's efforts to expand its high-end equipment manufacturing industrial cluster and solidify the foundation of its real economy.
