NBR new patent: Novel Stamped Outer Ring Structure with Vibration and Noise Reduction, Plus Anti-Vibration & Noise-Reducing Needle Roller Bearing

Recently, NRB announced that it has been granted a national utility model patent, entitled "A Novel Stamped Outer Ring Structure with Vibration Reduction and Noise Reduction and a Vibration-Reducing and Noise-Reducing Needle Roller Bearing" (Patent No.: CN202521132107.1), with an authorization date of April 7, 2026. This technological breakthrough is expected to provide a better bearing solution for high-precision, low-noise applications.

Unlike traditional circular stamped outer rings, this patent innovatively designs the outer ring body as a triangular structure—composed of three outwardly protruding elastic arc-shaped sides connected end to end, with a smooth arc transition at the junction of adjacent arc sides. This irregular geometric structure allows for a gapless, tight fit between the three elastic arc sides and the hole wall when the bearing is pressed into the housing mounting hole, effectively suppressing micro-movements and loosening during operation.

By eliminating the vibration source caused by clearances in traditional structures, this design significantly improves the rigidity and stability of the bearing system, thus achieving both vibration reduction and noise reduction at the source. It is particularly suitable for noise-sensitive applications or those requiring high operational smoothness, such as electric drive systems for new energy vehicles, precision home appliances, and industrial automation equipment.
