Pan Navigation Intelligence Empowers Energy-Saving Upgrading of Sulfur Recovery Unit in Ningxia Petrochemical
Recently, the upgrading and renovation project of the sulfur recovery unit of PetroChina Ningxia Petrochemical Co., Ltd., supplied by Pan Navigation Intelligence, has been successfully delivered. This is the first time that Pan Navigation Intelligence's products have been applied to the process section of the refining sulfur recovery unit, marking an important breakthrough for the company in the field of high-end petrochemical equipment.
The two original multi-stage centrifugal blowers in the Sulfur Recovery Unit of the 3rd Refining Department of Ningxia Petrochemical Co., Ltd. have long had problems such as high vibration values and frequent maintenance. In addition, the designed flow rate is 3900 Nm³/h, while the actual production only requires 1600-1700 Nm³/h, with a flow deviation of 57%. They have long been operating under the inefficient working condition of "using a large horse to pull a small cart", with high energy consumption and poor reliability.
The technical team of Pan Navigation Intelligence conducted in-depth on-site diagnosis and customized two HGB130-1.9 supersonic centrifugal blowers for replacement, which were strictly designed according to the actual on-site needs — with an air volume of 2630 Nm³/h and an outlet pressure of 80 kPa. This not only meets the production needs but also leaves a reasonable margin, completely solving the pain points of the original equipment such as "excessive selection and deviated operation".
Compared with the original two multi-stage centrifugal blowers, the supersonic centrifugal blowers of Pan Navigation Intelligence are expected to save about 200,000 kWh of electricity annually under the same working conditions, avoiding energy waste caused by flow deviation of the original equipment. The equipment adopts high-quality configurations such as high-strength aluminum alloy impellers, high-speed gearboxes, international first-line brand bearings and non-contact labyrinth seals, with the whole machine supplied in skid-mounted form, noise controlled within 85 decibels and vibration value ≤ 2.8 mm/s.
The sulfur recovery unit has extremely strict requirements on the stability, anti-surge performance and pressure fluctuation range of fan operation. This is the first time that Pan Navigation Intelligence's products have been applied in this process section, which fully verifies the maturity and reliability of the company's supersonic centrifugal blower technology and lays a solid foundation for the large-scale promotion in the petrochemical industry in the future.
