Fluke has introduced FTP fused test probes with built-in fuses for additional measurement protection. If the probe fuse blows, the probe still allows the meter to indicate live voltage. The units are rated to CAT III 1000 V and have sheathed tips for safety. Features include 2-mm threaded probe tips that include removable 4-mm lantern-style spring contacts and removable GS38 insulated IC caps for probing closely spaced leads, and an operating temperature range of minus 20C to 50C (minus 5F to 120F). These modular probes can mount on to any modular lead format.
