LockDowels’ new snap lock fastener system will provide stronger furniture joints, easy snap lock assembly, and the elimination of screws, glue, nails and cam locks. Once installed, Lockdowel’s new fasteners give ready to assemble furniture the look and quality of casegoods, having no visible hardware, no missing parts and strong, sturdy joints that don’t loosen over time.
Lockdowel fasteners have successfully reached pull strengths that range from 120 to more than 200 pounds. Assembly time in most all cases has been reduced by 80 percent while some have reached almost 90 percent.
