Anaheim Automation’s Ball Screw Product Line Expands to Carry NSK

Anaheim Automation’s most recent endeavor has included an expanded partnership with NSK to bring aboard a new line of ball screws to their existing product line. Anaheim Automation has an already established relationship with NSK as they carry their line of Linear Stages and XY tables. The major benefit in carrying these NSK ball screws is that they are already end-machined. Anaheim Automation ball screws are purchased based on the customer’s required length; they are cut-to-order. However, once the ball screws are cut, they require end-machining, which is typically outsourced and requires additional time before the user can actually fit the ball screw into their application. The NSK ball screws come standard with a C5 accuracy grade and P1 preload, and all ends are already machined according to the customer’s needs when they order. This ready-to-ship feature is what Anaheim Automation is referring to as their “Quick Ship” items. No additional services are required; select your option and ship it complete with no need to alter the ball screw further.
The new NSK ball screws provide a more boutique solution for users. While Anaheim Automation’s existing product line offers more cost savings and more size options, the NSK product line offers the high performance and quality that may be required of certain applications, and is available in a slimmer range of sizes. NSK ball screw diameters range from 10mm to 25mm, while the customer can get non-machined ends from 4mm to 80mm in size. Anaheim Automation offers both rolled and ground screws, however the NSK Compact FA series is available with the ground option only. While the options are narrower the quality and accuracy is higher.
