Wanxiang Group Rank Fifth in Zhejiang Top 100

Having studied various economic norms of local enterprises in 2004, on July 1 Zhejiang Enterprise Union together with Zhejiang Enterpreneur Association anounced the List of 2005 Top 100 Enterprises in Zhejiang Province. Wanxiang Group ranked fifth in the list with its RMB20.8 billion yuan's sales and about RMB1.6 billion yuan's tax turnover. Last year, Wanxiang focused on down-to-earth engineering; invested more to introduce advanced technologies; innovated to decrease cost and improve profit. They insisted that tapping their own petential is a way for them to make progress. Additionally, they carried out a series of actions: they set accounting which mainly focused on finacing as the core of management; clearly identified the managerial relationship between various operations; redistributed shares among shareholders; improved managing process; continued to implement the strategy of extending overseas business and attracting foreign investment. They took it as their principle that unite all forces that can be united, take advantage of any resources that can be used. Externally, they presented a good private enterprise image by their credit; internally, they advocated human oriented principle and tried their best to perfect the human resource system. By the join effort of the whole Wanxiang Group, annual sales and tax turnover in 2004 reached RMB20.828 billion yuan and RMB1.608 billion yuan respectively. This is the third election of top 100 enterprises in Zhejiang. But the average annual sales of the listed enterprises this year has increased by RMB555 million yuan.
