The TIH 220m has a unique remote control with an integrated LED display and control panel, which allows the operator to keep a safe distance from hot work pieces. Maximum efficiency is achieved by placing the induction coil outside the heater's housing, right in the centre of the bearing, allowing for shorter heating time and lower energy consumption resulting in significant cost saving.
Supplied standard with two yokes, allowing bearings with a bore diameter 60 mm (2,3 in) up to a maximum weight of 300 kg (660 lbs) to be heated. The larger yoke incorporates a "sliding arm", which makes it easier to load a bearing as the operator does not have to lift and remove the yoke in order to load a bearing.
In addition various protective features such as a pre-set temperature mode, temperature probe, 2-step power setting and automatic demagnetisation helps protect the unit and bearing.
