BSA Elects 2007-2008 Officers, Board of Directors

Glen Ellyn, IL The Bearing Specialists Association (BSA) has elected Cam Lawrence, BDI Canada, Inc., as president of the association for 2007-2008.
In addition, Steve Durston, Jamaica Bearings, was elected first vice president; Eduardo Bichara, Baleromix, S.A. de C.V, was elected second vice president; and, Ellen Holladay, Motion Industries, Inc., was elected treasurer. Tom Miller, Motion Industries, Inc. was elected chairman of the BSA Board of Directors. The elections were held at the association 2007 Annual Convention May 4-8 at
the Marriott Marco Island Resort, Golf Club and Spa, Marco Island, Florida.
The association also elected Tom Armold, Applied Industrial Technologies; Doug Savage, Bearing Service, Inc.; and James D. Webster, DXP Enterprises, to serve three-year terms on its Board of Directors. BSA elected William F. Du Comb, W. C. Du Comb Company, Inc., to fulfill the unexpired Board term of Mr. Bichara.
Those board members continuing to serve BSA in 2007-08 are: Craig O. Faber, Miller Bearings, Inc.; John Timble, Bearing Headquarters Company; Gordon Duncan, Kinecor, Inc.; Craig Gipson, Gipson Bearing & Supply; and Ron Aupperle, IBT, Inc.
An international service and educational organization of distributors representing a total of almost 100 companies distributing factory-warranted ball-, roller-, and anti-friction bearings and invited manufacturers of bearings and related products, the association mission says, BSA is the forum to enhance networking and knowledge
