SKF and Meridium Alliance Increase Product Offerings, Services, & Support
SKF USA, Inc. and Meridium, Inc. completed an agreement granting SKF non-exclusive rights to license and distribute Meridium Asset Performance Management System (APM) software. Additionally, SKF will be a preferred service provider for Meridium, providing consultation, training and services to facilitate implementation of asset management methodologies for new and existing customers. The agreement fits well into SKF’s expanding asset management services portfolio, and extends Meridium’s global reach by leveraging the SKF resources.
The key features of the agreement state that:
• SKF is licensed to distribute Meridium’s APM software, focused on Condition Assessment, Performance Management, and Strategy Management solutions
• SKF will be certified as a preferred service provider for Meridium software, including the Reliability Centered Maintenance & Optimization (RCMO) software for the SAP market
• SKF Reliability Maintenance Institute will offer training on the Meridium software programs, and
• Meridium will contribute to SKF’s knowledge engineering platform by expanding their contribution of application information to the educational web portal, www.aptitudexchange.com. SKF and Meridium will also participate jointly in developing future technologies and services for optimized asset management.
Meridium services will be offered globally through SKF Service Division’s Reliability Systems business area. The SKF Asset Management Services group will be the Center of Excellence to deliver Meridium products and services to the market.
