Federal-Mogul Corporation (OTCBB:FDMLQ) will showcase its innovative products and leading solutions to the more than 115,000 expected attendees at AAPEX 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 30-November 1. Visit Federal-Mogul at booth #3017 on the upper level of the Sands Expo Center.
Featuring the theme “Driving OE Technology and Aftermarket Solutions,” Federal-Mogul highlights the company’s unique approach to product development. Attendees will view interactive solution stations covering five product categories: Engine, Sealing, Steering, Braking and Service Solutions. The stand will feature Federal-Mogul’s industry leading portfolio of products which are marketed globally under some of the best known and trusted brands in the industry.
One featured technology is the new Wagner® EDGE™ brake pad. These innovative brake pads are based on an exclusive laser-shaped friction technology that enables Federal-Mogul engineers to optimize the interaction between the rotor, pad and caliper. Each EDGE brake pad features a custom, laser-focused shape designed specifically for the application. This revolutionary approach helps to eliminate pad vibration – and resulting noise – at its source while ensuring the precise transfer of caliper force where it’s needed most. This is precisely the kind of technology needed to address the demands of vehicle types, with lighter, more sensitive brake systems, and more aggressive driving environment.
In addition, Federal-Mogul’s environmentally friendly products will also be on display in the Green Zone in the Venetian Ballroom at the Sands Expo Center.
