EnPro Industries Buys Air Perfection

EnPro Industries Inc., a supplier of sealing products, bearings and other items, said Tuesday it purchased Air Perfection Inc., which distributes compressed air products make by its Quincy Compressor unit. Terms of the acquisition weren't disclosed. Based in Dixon, Calif., Air Perfection's 44 workers are involved in the service, sales and distribution of compressed air products. The two owners of Air Perfection will remain with the company, Enpro said. "We are very pleased to complete this acquisition, which we believe will bring benefits to both Quincy and Air Perfection," said Steve Macadam, president and chief executive of EnPro. "It improves Quincy's access to customers and its opportunities for growth in important regional markets."
