Brammer plc is delighted to announce a 25% participation in CN Industrial Group srl, Bucharest, with the intention to acquire the majority of its shares in June 2010. CN Industrial Group srl (“CN”) is a MRO focused quality brand distributor of bearings, belts, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics and associated products. Operating from 5 branches in some of the most important industrial areas in Romania (Bucharest, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Suceava, Ploiesti) CN generated sales of Euro 2.3m in 2007 with 20 people. The major brands of CN are FAG, INA, NTN, Timken, Siemens, Flender and Legris. The business was founded in 1998 and renamed to CN Industrial Group srl in 2001, when the current owners, Christina Hesse and Ion Ulceluse became joint shareholders. Since its foundation CN has achieved continuous sales growth and established a strong reputation in the market based on quality and technical competence. CN has approximately 700 active customers including such major companies as Arcelor Mittal, Michelin, Dacia (Renault) and Hanson/Heidelberg offering Brammer the possibility to serve pan-European Key Account Customers in one of the fastest growing industrial markets in Europe.
