U.S. Commerce Initiates Dumping Duty Reviews-Bearing News

The U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, will initiate administrative reviews of several antidumping and countervailing duty orders. Any company involved in an antidumping or countervailing duty order may request an administrative review in the anniversary month of that tariff or duty being applied. This year, the Department also received a request to revoke in part an antidumping duty orders on ball bearings and parts from one exporter in Germany, and a request for revocation on ball bearings and parts from an exporter in Japan. Note that Japanese complainants are developing a community of customer support. In addition to the normal list of manufacturers, the review requests now include several of their largest customers involved in the U.S. market.
