Operations Begin at BNL (Thailand) Limited

The Thai manufacturing facility of the UK-based plastic bearings specialist, announces the start of activities on the Rayong site.
BNL (UK) Limited, the plastic bearing designer and manufacturer is pleased to announce that its new Thailand factory is now fully operational.
An assembly team of forty plus are now on site at BNL (Thailand) Limited and the assembly function is in full swing. All office and quality staff have now been recruited, as have the moulding team and all employees are currently undertaking on-site training to enhance relevant skills.
The beginning of September has seen the team run the first product samples for customer approval and the first customer visit for an on-site evaluation is also due.
In terms of moulding activities, seven new Krauss Maffei CX machines ranging between 35 & 160 tonnes have been installed. All are equipped with the top of the range Krauss Maffei Quality Assurance System and in-process monitoring with ‘out-of-spec’ auto reject facility.
The new BNL Thailand team celebrated the official start of operations with an opening party. A great time was had by all at a local restaurant with live music and dancing, kick-starting what the Company hope to be a dynamic era in the development of the BNL brand.
Commenting on the official opening of the site, Neil Partlett, Chairman of BNL, said:
“We are very pleased with the successful ‘start-up’ of this new and exciting venture for BNL and we are confident it will allow us to better serve our customers in the future.”
